ATTO FibreBridge™ bridges connect low cost SAS/SATA disk storage and SAS tape drives to Fibre Channel Storage Area Networks with the added benefit of adding advanced intelligence to direct attached storage. FibreBridge allows organizations to better utilize their budget to purchase equipment that will meet their corporate objectives as it requires just two Fibre Channel switch ports for up to 8 tape drives or up to 254 disk drives when using JBOD storage with embedded SAS expanders.
