Amherst, NY (April 24, 2006) – ATTO Technology Inc., a global leader of storage connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, and Disc GmbH, a German manufacturer of optical libraries has certified the ATTO ipBridge 1550, an iSCSI-to-SCSI bridge with Disc’s Blu-ray libraries.

The combination of the ATTO iPBridgeTM 1550 with DISC’s Blu-ray libraries is adding another step to the integration flexibility of DISC storage solutions. The ATTO iPBridge is a cost effective method for connecting high capacity permanent storage to an IP Storage Area Network. The DISC Blu-ray storage technology offers great opportunities for higher storage densities and lower price points under $2/GB. The ATTO iPBridge 1550 adds to the cost-effective integration into existing Ethernet Storage environments.
