ATTO Technology Exhibits Industry’s Fastest Performing Storage Connectivity Products at SNW

Storage Networking World, Orlando, FL (April 12, 2010) – ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, will be exhibiting the most advanced storage connectivity technology in the market at the Storage Networking World Conference this week. ATTO will be featuring their latest product offerings, including the Celerity 8Gb/s Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters, FibreConnect™ 8Gb/s Fibre Channel Switches, ExpressSAS 6Gb/s & 3Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID and Host Bus Adapters, and FastStream™ SC RAID Storage Controllers.

Complementing the ATTO Celerity 8Gb/s Fibre Channel HBAs, is a new line of 8Gb/s Fibre Channel switches, delivering high-performance and high-availability SAN connectivity. ATTO’s Fibre Channel host bus adapters and switches offer extensive interoperability with leading infrastructure vendors while providing scalable SAN connectivity and enterprise-level features.  Celerity Fibre Channel host bus adapters include both target and initiator drivers for integration into workstations or storage enclosures. A newly-announced feature, MultiPath Director™, for use with Celerity 8Gb/s Fibre Channel HBAs, is the industry’s first high-availability solution for cross-platform workstation connectivity to enterprise-class storage. MultiPath Director addresses workstation-level needs for load-balancing and automatic path failover, features that were previously available only at a server level. ATTO’s SAN connectivity solution are engineered to provide smooth and reliable data transfers that increase productivity and performance.

ATTO takes SAS/SATA technology to the highest performance levels available with the introduction of a complete line 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s RAID and host bus adapters. ATTO’s SAS/SATA RAID and HBA products incorporate proprietary technologies, ADS™ and DriveAssure™, features that minimize latency and data transfer interruptions to ensure the highest level of consistent performance. ATTO’s 6Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID adapters also offer CacheAssure™ Technology, a non-volatile cache memory data protection module that provides a maintenance-free solution to safeguard against the loss of cached data during a power or system failure.

ATTO is also exhibiting the first-to-market 8Gb/s Fibre Channel-to-SAS/SATA independent RAID storage controller, the FastStream SC 8500. The 8500 allows customers to build a Storage Area Network (SAN) using previously direct-attached SAS/SATA JBOD storage and add RAID protection while maintaining performance levels. FastStream also incorporates the latency management features of ADS and DriveAssure technologies.
