Embedded Systems Engineer [Apply for this position]
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)
|
As an Engineer in our Embedded Software Group, you will be responsible for the design, development, and engineering support of embedded applications for ATTO products. In this role, you will participate in creating product requirements/specifications, as well as all phases of the design cycle and our product development process.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or related field with 2+ years previous work or internship/co-op experience
- Must be familiar with Intel platforms; previous embedded software development experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work well in team environments
- Experience working with networks, network equipment, TCP/IP, Fibre Channel, SCSI, iSCSI, RAID technologies, Virtual Tape Libraries and/or backup applications are a plus

Systems Software Engineer [Apply for this position]
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)
|
As an a member of our Systems Software Group, you will be responsible for the design and development of device drivers for our host adapter product line, for various operating system environments such as: Solaris, VMWare, HP/UX, etc.
Position Qualifications
- BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required
- 3+ years experience writing device drivers or similar code using C and Assembler
- Experience with storage systems and protocols (SCSI, ATA, SATA, SAS, etc.) is a plus
