International Sales Manager

As our International Sales Manager, you will have overall management responsibilities of our International Sales team and will ensure that they meet or exceed their revenue targets. Responsibilities include developing international sales strategies/goals/objectives for the team; developing account management and business plans for countries and accounts; identifying new international OEM and Distribution account prospects; monitoring and tracking selling efforts and resources; providing coaching, mentoring, support and training to international sales team members; work closely with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering Services to coordinate customer/account needs and resources; travel with Sales resources to accounts and tradeshows, as needed. Position requires approximately 30% to 40% international travel.

Position Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years experience managing international sales professionals; experience with technical products/markets/industries is strongly preferred
  • Proven record of growing international sales through development and implementation of strategic business plans
  • Demonstrated experience with penetration of key international businesses on a direct sales or OEM basis, as well as evaluation and selection of distribution in international markets
  • Experience with European markets is required, preferably with Asian markets as well
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred
  • Must be able and available for 30% to 40% international travel
