With a focus toward markets that require higher performance, ATTO manufactures Host Bus Adapters, RAID adapters, network adapters, RAID storage controllers, Thunderbolt™-enabled Desklink™ devices, bridges, switches and software. ATTO solutions provide a high level of connectivity to interfaces including Fibre Channel, SAS, SATA, iSCSI, 10GbE, FCoE and Thunderbolt. ATTO distributes its products worldwide through Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Systems Integrators and Value Added Resellers (VARs).
Leading the storage connectivity industry in innovation, ATTO Technology, Inc. has been led by a dedicated core of directors since 1988. The experience of the company principals comprises many years of excellence in operations, research and development, business, sales and marketing.
Timothy J. Klein – President, CEO and co-founder. An experienced entrepreneur, Klein has led ATTO since its inception in 1988 and is a key member on a number Western New York leadership boards and industry associations. Prior to founding ATTO, he was employed as a systems engineer with Barrister Information Systems, a developer of mini computers and software. Prior to that Klein worked as a design engineer with Motorola. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
David A. Snell – Vice President of Engineering, Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. Snell has led all aspects of research and development for ATTO Technology since 1988. Prior to founding ATTO, he was a systems engineer with Barrister Information Systems. He received his B.A. in Computer Science from Hiram College.
James F. Masiello – Vice President of Finance and Human Resources. Masiello is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. Before joining ATTO in 1994, he was employed at Ernst & Young, most recently as a senior manager. Masiello is a Senior Professional in Human Resources and received his B.B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
Timothy J. Boser – Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining ATTO in 1993, Boser was Director of Technology Transfer at the Western New York Technology Development Center, Inc. He has also held management positions with Amherst Systems, a simulation software developer primarily for defense applications. Boser received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University at Buffalo.
Wayne P. Arvidson – Vice President of Marketing. Before joining ATTO in 2010, Arvidson was senior director of storage and infrastructure products at Avid Technology’s Video Division. He is an active member of Storage Networking Professionals, the Storage Networking Industry Association and is on the advisory boards of Ardtully Technologies, SeeFile Software and the Marblehead Professionals, Inc. Arvidson spent over 15 years in senior management positions at Iomega, Maxtor, Silicon Graphics (SGI) and MicroNet Technology and was also manager of technical services at Linotype-Hell.
Founded in 1988 by Timothy J. Klein and David A. Snell, ATTO has established a solid business model with a strong track record of profitability.
