ATTO Delivers Next Generation 8-Gigabit Fibre Channel Solutions

ATTO Technology Announces Immediate Support for Windows Server 2008

On the launch date of Windows Servers 2008, February 29th, ATTO announced immediate driver support for its complete line of host adapters.

“ATTO reinforces its commitment to the Windows market by being the first host adapter vendor to deliver support for the newest Microsoft operating system, Windows Server 2008. Windows users can now choose from a full spectrum of high-performance adapters for SCSI, Fibre Channel and SAS/SATA environments,” states Ed Tierney, director of marketing for ATTO.

Product Certifications

Brocade - ATTO’s Celerity FC-42ES Fibre Channel Host Adapter has been verified by Brocade Communications Systems Inc. as compatible with Brocade-based Storage Area Networking (SAN) infrastructure, according to the testing requirements of the Brocade Data Center Ready Program. Brocade’s Data Center Ready certification is a key component of ATTO’s commitment to provide interoperable 4-Gb and 8-Gb Fibre Channel solutions for a variety of vendors.


HP - Version 3.10 of ATTO’s Xtend SAN iSCSI initiator is now qualified for use with the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Arrays (EVA) iSCSI Connectivity Option. Using Xtend SAN in conjunction with the EVA provides OS X users a cost-effective method to enable Mac® workstations to use iSCSI to connect to EVAs. The qualification of Xtend SAN with the HP EVA iSCSI Connectivity Option gives customers a low-cost, long-distance method to share data for Mac applications.


Fujitsu - Fujitsu Computer Products of America certified ATTO’s ExpressSAS RAID adapters with their latest in Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drive technology, the MBA3300 and MBB2147 Series enterprise drives. The combination of ATTO’s ExpressSAS RAID adapters and Fujitsu’s SAS (HDD) products, provides customers with state-of-the-art solutions for demanding enterprise applications in DVA and IT infrastructures.
